Rules around the list can be a little tricky to track down. Last I heard, it is 45 players strong. It offers exclusive rights to the named player. It is confidential to the point that even many players on these lists don't know they've been named. Once a player on a list indicates a desire to come to the CFL, his team has 10 days to offer him a contract. If it does, his rights remains on the list for another. If they don't I believe they lose his rights.
While I find the practice of releasing these names largely useless, I'll record them here for the sake of others' curious interest. Again, to the best of my knowledge, teams can modify the list at any time so the day after the ten are named, they could all be dropped, conceivably.
