The Athletes In Action all-star game began as the closing event to a high school football camp held in the spring by the Ottawa Rough Riders. This page will track its results over the years.

Bob Ferguson, Ottawa Citizen: "Brookfield running back Ron Trunzo, judged the game's outstanding offensive player for the victors, impressed an array of Canadian college scouts with his quick, elusive running style as he rolled up 123 yards in 14 carries. He scored the Ottawa Board's initial touchdown midway through the first quarter slanting off tackle for 2 1/2 yards...Ridgemont pivot Reg Enright scored the second Ottawa major on a one-yard keeper play.

An estimated crowd of 8000 attended this one in large part because it also featured a flag football game between professional players in a CFL vs NFL match up. For what it's worth, the CFL won 16-08. The NFL's score came on a pass from Seattle's Jim Zorn to Cleveland TE Oscar Roan. Receiver Steve Largent collected the two-point conversion.
