BCS Old Boys Cup

Many of the articles below will explain this but the Old Boys Cup was a two-game series between Ashbury and Bishop's that ran for many years.

Only one game was played between the two this season. The earlier contest was cancelled due to the flu.

One article makes a brief mention that the above victory means that the Old Boys Cup will permanently remain with Ashbury but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Ottawa Citizen, Oct 11th: "Bob Berry ran the opening kickoff 65 yards for the first major. Kev Pickens went 45 on a fake kick to pick up a second and Ian Ewing went 15 yards around the end for the third. Berry converted the second TD."

Ottawa Citizen, Oct 24th: "Bill Berry was the star for the winners with a pair of touchdowns and a single. Quarterback Pickens got a third touchdown and Ewing added a single."
