Myers Riders (Sr. Varsity)

Myers Riders joined the Ontario Varsity Football League in 2001 after a dominant run at the Midget level from 1988 (?) to 2000. While they have not duplicated their degree of success in terms of championships (they had seven in the 90's), the varsity club was routinely competitive in the OVFL reaching the championship game from 2011 to 2015.

Following a few years of dormancy of competition in that age group, Myers committed to fielding a team in the newly-formed Ontario Summer Football League as of 2022.

2015: Lost 63-28 to the Essex Ravens on the OVFL championship game. "The loss was the first suffered by the Myers Riders since the 2012 championship game and ended their 32-game unbeaten streak" - The Windsor Star 

2014: Defeated Essex Raiders 25-24 in the OVFL Championship Game!

2013: Defeated the Niagara Spears 42-20 in the OVFL Championship Game!
(Tim Baines, Ottawa Sun, Aug 16th, 2013): Record-breaking Myers has been rolling over opponents, putting up an incredible 604 points, while allowing just 155 in its 10 wins.

2012: 5-3 Lost in the championship game. 

2011: 8-0 (0-1) Lost to the Toronto Thunder 36-21 in the championship game.

2010: 6-2 (0-1)

2009: 6-2 (2-1) Lost to the Toronto Thunder 15-03 in the semifinal.

2005: 4-4 A Myers team lost 17-16 to the London Falcons in the league final but the brief summary does not specify the level of play.

2003: 7-1 (0-1) Lost to the Mississauga Warriors 39-14 in the quarterfinals.
